Stephanie Thoreson is a Texas-born writer, comedian, producer, and actor currently based in LA. A graduate of multiple sketch and improv programs including The Upright Citizens Brigade, The Second City, and ColdTowne Theater (ATX), Stephanie has been both performing and working behind the scenes on stage and screen for a nearly a decade. As a character actor and improvisor, she has opened for comedians like Parker Posey, Scott Adsit, and Jim Rash. 

Stephanie is one half of Baby Lion, the independent production team behind the original ensemble sitcom Wind-Ups, for which she also served as head writer. She plays the lead in the feature Good Feels on Wheels which received multiple awards during its festival run, including three "Best Actress" wins for Stephanie's portrayal of Opal in the film. 

Her most recent solo project Getting Alonga sitcom-style comedic play inspired by iconic 90's television, premiered to a 4-night run at The Elysian Theater in east LA. She is set to film Dead of Night, a new proof-of-concept pilot written by Devon Coleman and directed by Tim Ryder this spring.

Stephanie is currently developing a feature-length script and producing and performing live comedy in LA. You can catch her Monday nights at UCB Theater performing with her Lloyd team Branzino. In her free time she likes to watch movies, eat good food, play games, collect physical media, and hang with her old hound dog and one-eyed cat.
