Stephanie Thoreson is a writer, comedian, actor, and creative producer based in Los Angeles by way of Austin, TX. With a decade of experience in sketch and improv comedy, she has created two critically acclaimed solo shows and shared a 5 year sold-out residency with the award-winning improv team Loverboy. As a character performer and Loverboy improvisor, she has opened for comedians like Parker Posey, Scott Adsit, Jim Rash, and James Adomian. 

 

Stephanie is one half of Baby Lion Studios, the independent production team behind the ensemble sitcom Wind-Ups, for which she served as head writer. She plays the lead in the feature Good Feels on Wheels which received multiple awards during its festival run, including three “Best Actress” wins for Stephanie’s portrayal of Opal in the film. You can currently catch her debut as a scream queen in the Horror anthology Scare Package, now streaming on Shudder. 

After 5 years with her Texas agency Collier Talent, Stephanie is actively seeking LA representation as a writer and performer. She is currently in the process of pitching Wind-Ups for development and writing her third solo work in progress.
