Stephanie Thoreson is a queer writer, comedian, actor, and artist based in Los Angeles by way of Austin, TX. Best known for her work in sketch and improv comedy, she has played stages across Texas, California, New York, and Scotland, including two one-woman shows and a 5-year sold-out residency with the critically acclaimed improv team Loverboy, named by Thrillist as one of the best comedy shows in Austin. As a solo performer and Loverboy improvisor, she has opened for comedians like Parker Posey, Scott Adsit, and Jim Rash.
Stephanie is one half of the team behind Baby Lion Studios, an independent production company working on the new ensemble sitcom Wind-Ups, for which she served as head writer. She plays the lead in the feature Good Feels on Wheels which received multiple awards during its festival run, including three “Best Actress” wins for Stephanie’s portrayal of Opal in the film.
